Scientific Research Organizations
As part of the Predict-Er project, three prominent scientific and research institutions – “VINČA” Institute of Nuclear Sciences – National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade (VINS), University of Niš, Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics (UNFSM) and The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Agriculture (AGRIF) – have joined forces to research, develop and apply new methodologies for predicting soil erosion phenomena. External cooperation was achived with Ghent University (UGhent). This collaboration brings together the rich experience, expertise and resources of each of these institutions, allowing us to leverage the best in each area to create innovative solutions that will positively impact our community and the world in soil erosion prediction and research.
To achieve specific project objectives, Predict-Er established a balanced multi-disciplinary research team of two physical chemists (PI and Ph.D. student), one chemist (TM1), one technology engineer (TM2), one electrical engineer (TM3), four geographers (TM5-TM8), one agricultural engineer (TM9) and one geologist (EC) with complementary scientific and practical knowledge relevant for project topic. The project team is composed of three principal research fellows, one research associate, two full professors, one associate professor, two assistant professors, one postdoctoral fellow and one Ph.D. student.
