DISSEMINATION

The Predict-Er project was presented to students from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, University of Niš, in the field at the Malčanska River basin, the project’s focus area, on May 13, 2024. The students observed the erosion processes that the project aims to mitigate and gained first-hand insight into the projects’s objectives and the importance of sustainable land management strategies. The leader of work package 3 attended the event and explained remote sensing methods in general and their specific application within the project. During the presentation, a drone equipped with a camera was launched to demonstrate how terrain surveying is conducted. The students also had the opportunity to operate the drone to gain hands-on experience briefly.
